Privacy and security
This page explains the data Genius Post uses and the safeguards in place. Contact the service's support team with questions about your data.
Data we process
Your Telegram ID, name and username, interface language, team membership, personal prompt and signature. We also store your balance, plan, usage history and payment records: identifiers, amounts and statuses. Submitted text, links and media are processed to prepare your posts.
Why we use it
To provide bot access, prepare posts using your instructions, support team workflows, track credits, handle payments and provide support. Generation records store request type, timing, status and API cost, rather than the full text of your posts. Service messages may be sent in your selected interface language.
External services
The bot operates through Telegram. Text and instructions are sent to the selected AI provider, OpenAI or OpenRouter, for generation. Firecrawl may process articles and Brave may search for images. Payments are handled by Telegram Stars or PayPal; Genius Post does not request or store bank card numbers. External services have their own data processing terms.
Storage
Job content is temporarily held in the processing queue and removed after completion or expiry of its technical retention period. Profiles, settings and records are kept to operate the service; there is currently no single automatic deletion period for these records. Support reviews deletion requests, taking into account any need to retain payment records. Database backups keep the latest three versions; removal from the live database does not immediately remove data from existing backups. Telegram chat history is managed separately through Telegram.
Safeguards
The website uses HTTPS. The owner's panel requires authentication and stores a password hash. Workspace access is restricted by user and role; team members share their workspace settings. The database and Redis are not directly exposed to the internet. Backup access is restricted. No system can guarantee absolute security: do not send passwords, API keys or content that must not be shared with external services.
Questions, corrections and deletion
Contact @Post_Genius_bot to request information about your data, corrections or deletion. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner. Report suspected data leaks or security issues there too, without sharing secrets. If applicable law provides additional rights, you may raise them in your request.
